OUTREACH 2004 attracts manufacturers from 21 countries
AMMAN (JT) — Manufacturers from 21 countries are preparing to display their latest products and describe their special services at the "OUTREACH 2004" exhibition which opens Sunday at the Amman International Motor Show (AIMS). The event, which also includes three days of workshop sessions, taking place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, addresses the rebuilding of Iraq — its infrastructure and its economy.The exhibition, features national pavilions from the Netherlands, the United States, Switzerland, Australia, Poland, Italy, Turkey and Egypt, with major representation from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Jordan and Iraq. Additional exhibitors are drawn from South Africa, Romania, Spain, Lebanon, Iran, France, India, the Untied Kingdom and Bahrain.
The programme at the Hyatt Hotel spotlights a combination of government and private industry experts, sharing their experiences and knowledge of the situation in Iraq with an audience of regional businessmen, Iraqi entrepreneurs, and company representatives from North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Admiral David Nash, director of the Project Management Office of the Coalition Provisional Authority in Baghdad, is the keynote speaker.
