Al Qaeda member killed in Irbid
A General Intelligence Department force, backed by an anti-terror police unit, on Tuesday killed an Al Qaeda member and arrested another suspect in a shoot-out during a raid on a house in Irbid’s Matlaa area. The raid was launched after security forces received a tip-off that Al Qaeda was plotting attacks in Jordan. Suleiman Ghayyadh Anjadi, who holds a temporary Jordanian passport was killed and Ramadan Mustafa Mansi, a Jordanian, was arrested. Several policemen were slightly injured.
