Khader receives Arab, US and Spanish delegations

AMMAN (Petra) — Minister of Culture and Government Spokesperson Asma Khader met on Thursday with a delegation from the Dubai-based Institute for Near East and Gulf Military Analysis and the Stanley Institute from the US. During the meeting, Khader underlined the importance of mutual cooperation between regional foundations as well as providing facilities for the foundation, which is currently preparing to hold a conference on Gulf security in September 2005. Meanwhile, Khader also received a delegation from the technological city in Spain, in the presence of Spanish Ambassador to Jordan Antonio Lopez. The Spanish delegation proposed to hold Spanish musical concerts and an art exhibition in Jordan in May 2005. Khader welcomed the proposal and voiced the ministry's readiness to extend support to help organise these activities. At the end of the meeting, the Spanish ambassador presented Khader with a book entitled “Red Rose City, Petra” as a token of his appreciation and love for Jordan.
