FM reviews regional situation with Finnish delegation
AMMAN (Petra) — Foreign Minister Marwan Muasher on Tuesday reviewed with a visiting Finnish parliamentary delegation the situation in the region, particularly the stalled Mideast peace process and Iraq. Muasher stressed the need to focus efforts on relaunching the peace process and the implementation of the roadmap to Mideast peace. The minister also called for reestablishing stability and security in Iraq and handing back power to the Iraqi people soonest. The Finnish delegation members voiced concern over Israel's building a separation wall on Palestinian lands in the West Bank, noting this wall threatens the peace process.
