Of the economic assistance, $167.5 million was in the form of cash support to the state budget and $130 million for funding the USAID programmes that support the Kingdom’s development goals. These programmes included improving and expanding water supplies, improving healthcare and education, and supporting the efforts of the government and private sector to strengthen the country’s economy.
