Exports from Qualifying
Industrial Zones reach $919 million in 2004
AMMAN (Petra) — Exports from the Qualifying Industrial Zones rose by $333
million to $919 million last year compared to $586 million in 2003. According to
the Ministry of Industry and Trade figures, exports of Al Tajamouat Industrial
Estate in Amman totalled $274 million while exports from Al Hassan Industrial
Estate followed by $245 million. Exports of Ad Duleil Industrial Park ranked
third accounting for $151 million, followed by the exports of Al Karak
Industrial Estate at $147 million, and the Cyper city exports at $79 million.
Exports of Al-Ruseifa zone and those of Al Qastal Industrial Zone trailed at $8
million and $7.9 million respectively.
