Jordan ranks 18 on UNESCO's 'Education for All' report
AMMAN (Petra) — Out of 94 countries, Jordan presently ranks eighteen under the latest "Education for All" report of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) on gender and education. According to the report, Jordan provides equal learning opportunities to male and female students. Commenting on the report, Education Minister Khalid Touqan said he was proud of the achievements accomplished so far, adding that the UNESCO findings represent a motivation for more efforts within this domain.
