Finance minister meets Larson
AMMAN (Petra) — Finance Minister Mohammad Abu Hammour on Wednesday met with US Undersecretary of State for Economic and Business Affairs Alan Larson. During the meeting, attended by US Ambassador in Amman Edward Gnehm, Abu Hammour briefed Larson on the Kingdom's economic and financial performance. He pointed out that the Kingdom achieved an actual growth rate of 3.3 per cent last year despite regional adverse challenges. Abu Hammour also underlined the importance of foreign assistance for narrowing the budget deficit.
