Jordan's Exports through
the Arab Free Trade Zone Agreement (AFTZA) increase by 36.6%
Jordan's exports through the Arab Free Trade Zone Agreement (AFTZA) increased,
in the last year, by 36.6% to reach JD888 million compared to JD 650 million,
according to the monthly bulletin of the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
The Agreement includes Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi
Arabia, Libya, Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, UAE, Yemen, and the Palestinian
Authority.
On the other hand, Jordan's exports to all Arab countries, including the
non-member countries in the agreement, rose by 35.6% to reach JD 938 million
compared to JD 691 million, added the bulletin, which also pointed that this
forms 40.2 % of the total exports of the Kingdom.
