Jordan backs Arab reform initiatives
Cairo, March 4 (MFA) - Jordan backs all Arab reform initiatives, including Egypt's plan to be presented at the 121 meeting of Arab foreign ministers in Cairo today, Jordan's Ambassador to Egypt, Hani Mulki said.
Jordan strongly believes the cornerstone to such reform is solving the core issue in the region by ending Israeli occupation of Arab territories and establishing a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, Mulki told Petra news agency.
“Reform should concentrate on ending occupation and applying justice that guarantees the return of Arab legitimate rights,” he said. Adding that any reform should be based on Arab and Islamic civilization and Islamic religion.
