King arrives in Paris

His Majesty King Abdullah is welcomed on Thursday by French President Jacques Chirac at Elysee Palace in Paris prior to a meeting. King Abdullah and Chirac held talks on means to revive the Middle East peace process. The two leaders also discussed Iraq and bilateral relations. General Saad Kheir, the King's adviser on security affairs, director of the General Intelligence Department and president of the National Security Council, Royal Court Minister Samir Rifai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Mohammad Halaiqa, and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Bassem Awadallah accompanied the King. The King arrived earlier in France as part of an EU tour that took him to Dublin, London and Berlin, where he held similar talks.
