More than 60 local companies to take part in the 3rd Rebuild Iraq Exhibition

AMMAN (JT) — Jordanian companies are leading the way in the reconstruction of Iraq with more than 60 local businesses exhibiting their wares at the “3rd International Rebuild Iraq 2006 Exhibition” to be held at the Abdali Urban Regeneration Project from May 8-11. Jordanian businesses will be showcasing the latest products and services as diverse as heavy machinery, stone and marble, fire fighting and safety equipment, wood working machinery, interior finishing products as well as pre-fabricated homes. The Jordanian exhibitors will occupy around 15 per cent of the available exhibition space, making Jordan the largest among Arab countries participating in terms of space allocation. Khaled Burgan, general manager of IFP Near East, the Jordanian arm of IFP Group organising the exhibition, said: “We are very pleased that so many Jordanian organisations will exhibit and we are very delighted to have the support and patronage of Prime Minister Marouf Bakhit. Over 1,000 companies will take part in the exhibition representing over 52 countries worldwide.
