Workshop on human rights, security begins
AMMAN (Petra) — About 70 court judges and lawyers, from Jordan and Arab countries, on Tuesday started a three-day workshop on human rights and security organised by Jordan Institute of Diplomacy. The workshop, which is funded by Canadian International Development Agency and the Norwegian government, seeks to provide the judicial workforce with the basic principles and experience to enhance their role in securing the rights of individuals and groups.
