Emerging Jordan 2004 to be published this month
AMMAN (JT) — The Oxford Business Group has
recently completed the research for their latest publication, Emerging Jordan
2004 to be published this month. It will be the second annual 200-page economic
and political review of Jordan and the publication will be produced in
association with the Jordanian American Business Association (JABA), and under
the auspices of the Economic Department of the Royal Court.
Emerging Jordan 2004 will be the latest edition in the Oxford Business GroupĚs
"Emerging Markets Series."
It has been an exciting year for the Oxford Business Group with new books
launched in Morocco, Tunisia, Romania, Bulgaria, and Qatar as well as the new
editions in Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt and Turkey with Syria to be published
shortly.
The series continues to receive a great deal of acclaim for being the most
comprehensive business, economic and political reviews of the countries they
cover, and they have no doubt that this year's Jordan edition will be received
in the same light.
Written by a team of five analysts based on the ground for six months, it will
include interviews with some of the country's leading political and economic
figures, including Prime Minister Faisal Fayez and Central Bank Governor Umayya
Touqan.
The publication includes articles by leading political, economic and business
figures, including Marwan Muasher, Khalid Al Wazani, Imad Fakhoury, Faris Sharaf
and Hani Hourani.
"Emerging Jordan 2004" will feature sections on each of the country's economic
sectors, from banking to infrastructure and from industry to tourism. The team
worked closely with analysts from Atlas Investment during their time in Amman.
The publication will be on sale in bookshops across The Middle East including
Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and UAE as well as in Europe and the
US.
