Palestinians and Israelis back to the negotiating table.
During a meeting with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, who is currently on a

establishing an independent Palestinian state.
The King also noted the importance of continuing coordination with Arab and

Failure to achieve peace, he said, will lead to more violence that would
negatively affect the future of the region’s peoples.
His Majesty expressed appreciation of the role played by the U.N and its
organizations to alleviate the economic hardships facing the Palestinians.
On Iraq, King Abdullah stressed the need for concerted international efforts to
support peace and stability in that country. “Including all sectors of the Iraqi
society in the national reconciliation will enable Iraqi to overcome its
crisis,” he added.
