Pullout details expected in mid-April - Qureia
AMMAN, April 9 (Petra) - Palestinian Prime
Minister Ahmed Qureia on Thursday said part of Israel's plans to unilaterally
withdraw from Gaza Strip are expected to be revealed in mid-April.
Qureia told the press here that he met Foreign Minister Marwan Muasher for talks
on the Israeli plan, the Middle East peace process and His Majesty King
Abdullah's upcoming visit to the US.
He added that he discussed with Muasher the Arab summit, which “should be held
as soon as possible.”
For his part, Muasher reiterated that any Israeli pullback must come “within the
framework” of the internationally backed roadmap, “leading eventually to the end
of Israeli occupation and the establishment of an independent Palestinian
state.”
Qureia also met Prime Minister Faisal Fayez for similar talks.
