Foreign Ministry follows up on Ramadi incident

AMMAN (JT) — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is closely following up on the particulars of the shooting incident in Iraq last week leading to the death of a Jordanian lawyer and the injury of another, official sources said, cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The incident left Muwafaq Zu'bi dead and Qassem Zu'bi, his nephew, injured on a highway near Ramadi last week. The ministry took the necessary measures to transport Qassem and the body of his uncle to Amman. It has also sent a memorandum to the US embassy in Amman asking for information and an investigation into the incident.
