US is Jordan's Largest Trade Partner
Amman, April 21 (Petra)-- The US was Jordan's
largest trade partner in terms of exports during the first two months of 2004,
with a percentage of 29.9. The value of Jordan's export to the US rose to JD96.3
million compared to JD 55.6 millions in the same period of last year.
According to the monthly bulletin of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Iraq
came second with 18.6 percent with a total imports of JD60 million.
Syria came third with 6.5 percent to reach JD21 million followed by India, Saudi
Arabia, Switzerland, Algeria, Israel, UAE, Lebanon, China, Kenya, Kuwait, Italy
and Malaysia.
