Jordan appointed member
of Arab Ministerial Tourism Council executive office
The Arab Ministerial Tourism Council on Saturday appointed Jordan as member of
the council’s executive office at its 10th session held in Beirut. Talks focused
on supporting the Lebanese tourism sector after last year’s Israeli aggression
and the need to promote inter-Arab tourism. Participants also reviewed the 19th
Arab summit resolutions. Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Osama Dabbas, who
headed the Kingdom’s delegation to the meeting, said the council’s 11th session
would be held in Amman next year.
