Monarch, Bush discuss bilateral, Middle East issues
AMMAN (JT) — His Majesty King Abdullah and US
President George W. Bush on Monday discussed bilateral and regional issues,
Agence France-Presse reported.
In a brief telephone call, King Abdullah and Bush held talks on bilateral and
Middle East issues “as part of their coordination and consultations.”
AFP quoted White House spokesman Scott McClellan as saying that the two leaders
also discussed their scheduled meeting in May. Last week, King Abdullah
postponed talks with Bush and returned to Jordan from an official visit to the
US.
