Abdullah meets with former Iraqi president
His Majesty King Abdullah meets with former Iraqi president Ghazi Yawir on
Thursday. Discussions during the meeting focused on the latest developments in
Iraq. The Monarch called on Iraqis to unite against those who encourage division
to overcome the current difficult circumstances. He reiterated Jordan’s support
for efforts seeking to achieve the security and stability in Iraq to enable it
to regain its vital role in the region
