Jafza stand at Rebuild Iraq 2005 in Jordan generates huge interest
AMMAN — Jafza (Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority) has announced their successful participation in Rebuild Iraq 2005, the Second International Trade Exhibition for Rebuilding of Iraq, which was held recently in Amman.
The Jafza stand at the exhibition generated a lot of interest among participants that included buyers, manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, government bodies and a variety of decision-makers involved in the economic rebirth of Iraq. Rebuild Iraq is a highly specialised show that focuses on the rebuilding of Iraq's critical infrastructure in electricity, water, oil, health, transportation, agriculture, and telecommunications sectors. Commenting on the success of their participation, Ahmed Al Falasi, regional manager, Middle East, Jafza said. “We are extremely satisfied with the response we received from participants at the event. We were overwhelmed by enquiries from businessmen and investors from Iraq and surrounding areas who were keen on knowing details about setting up operations at Jafza. Iraq at present offers numerous business development opportunities for a wide range of sectors.”
The Jafza pavilion at Rebuild Iraq 2005 was
inaugurated by the UAE ambassador to Jordan along with the Jordanian minister of
trade and industry. The event was attended by major US, British and other
international contractors and regional subcontractors, who are the leading
buyers in Middle East markets. The show also gave a chance for exhibitors to
meet and appoint Iraqi, Jordanian and other Middle East agents and distributors.
