Abbas, Khatib discuss Quartet meeting
AMMAN (Petra) — Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Sunday telephoned Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdul Ilah Khatib. During the phone call, they reviewed the situation of the Palestinians and the current state of siege they live under. They also discussed the meeting of the Quartet scheduled for Tuesday. Abbas underlined the need to solve the Palestinians’ financial problem.
