NCHR, UNHCR training course begins
AMMAN (Petra) — The National Centre for Human Rights (NCHR), in cooperation with the UNHCR, on Monday organised a training course on issues related to refugees and human rights. NCHR Executive Director Saleh Zu'bi said the course was part of the centre's strategy to deal with human rights issues on the national and regional level. UNHCR representative in Jordan Sten Brunee said the commission has trained a large number of workers in the Kingdom on the basics of human rights and related issues during the last 10 years. The eight-day event aims to provide the 22 participants with skills that will enable them to train others in the future.
