Petra Gears Up for the Conference of Nobel laureates
Petra gears up for the conference of Nobel laureates, which opens tomorrow. Nobel laureates from the six fields in which the Nobel Prize is awarded each year — peace, economics, literature, physics, chemistry as well as medicine — are expected to attend the gathering, as well as dozens of international public figures. Youth from around the Middle East will have a leading voice at the May 15-16 conference, entitled: ‘Petra III: Building a Better World.’ They have been invited by the King Abdullah II Fund for Development and the Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity to discuss their perspectives on the future of the region.
