Workshop on democracy, human rights opens
AMMAN (Petra) — A workshop on enhancing equality, democracy and human rights opened in Amman. The workshop, organised by the Arab Women Organisation in cooperation with the EU and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, focused on issues related to empowering women and enhancing their participation in society and the decision making process. Representatives from various women's organisations attended the event.
