Education conference
addresses professional development
AMMAN (Petra) — A conference organised by the Ministry of Education and local
universities convened on Tuesday to establish criteria for teachers’
professional development. The conference, which hosted 120 educational experts
including international participants, will put forward an action plan to
implement and follow up on the proposed criteria. Education Ministry Secretary
General Tayseer Nuemi said the ministry has started to design new training
programmes to upgrade the educational system.
