Arab and International investment funds to be announced at WEF — Awadallah
AMMAN (Petra) — Several Arab and international investment funds will be announced during the upcoming meetings of the World Economic Forum (WEF) to be held at the Dead Sea this weekend, Finance Minister Bassem Awadallah said on Tuesday.
Investment projects such as the Red-Dead Canal will be launched in addition to other ventures by Arab and international investors in the fields of tourism, services, construction, real estate, the minister added. The forum will also provide a platform for Arab countries to negotiate Free Trade Agreements with the US, while Saudi Arabia will be involved in negotiating its entry into the World Trade Organisation, Awadallah added.
