Zarqa exports rise 10% in three months
ZARQA (Petra) — Exports from the Zarqa Governorate rose by 10 per cent during the first quarter of this year, reaching JD30.142 million. Pharmaceuticals' accounted for the largest tranche of the exports totalling JD900,000. Engineering industries ranked second, followed by the textiles which posted a 32 per cent increase. Most of the garments went to the US markets.
