Exports from Duleil
Qualified Industrial Zone increase by 32 per cent
AMMAN (Petra) — The Duleil Qualified Industrial Zone increased its exports,
mainly of ready-made garments, by 32 per cent in the first four months of 2004
compared to the corresponding period of 2003 .The zone's 19 companies, which
employ 9,000 workers sell most of their products to US markets. Jordan's total
exports of garments to the US last year reached $650 million.
