King meets with Palestinian Israeli
Business Council members
DEAD SEA (Petra) — His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday met with the members of the Palestinian Israeli Business Council, which was launched on the first day of the World Economic Forum (WEF). During the meeting, the King highlighted the need to end the suffering of the Palestinians and improve their living conditions by providing them with economic opportunities, education and health services. The Monarch called for preparing for peace and drawing up plans that guarantee the success of peace by working on two parallel tracks: Politics and economy. The council, comprising 10 founder members from both the Palestinian and Israeli sides, is designed to advance the relationship between the two business communities and assist the region to move towards durable peace and coexistence.
