Justice minister meets
with US congressional delegation
Minister of Justice Sharif Zu’bi on Sunday met with a US congressional
delegation headed by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy. During
the meeting, Zu’bi briefed the delegation on the Jordanian judicial system, its
institutions and courts, as well as the ministry’s projects. The minister
stressed the ministry’s keenness to benefit from other countries’ experiences
and expertise in the judicial field. The members of the delegation commended the
Kingdom’s efforts to boost the competitiveness of the judiciary as well as the
national economy.
