Peace key to future — King
His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday said achieving peace in the region is key to a better and safer future. At a meeting, King Abdullah told US senators Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky), Jim DeMint (R-South Carolina) and Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) that the Palestinian-Israeli conflict hinders regional development. The Monarch, meanwhile, reviewed Jordan's reform plans, stressing that the Kingdom was going ahead with development and modernisation.
