Reform process seeks to
improve living standards — Badran
AMMAN, June 8 (Petra) - The main aim of the reform process is to provide a
better standard of living for the Jordanian people, Prime Minister Adnan Badran
said on Tuesday. In a lecture delivered at the Jordanian British Society, Badran
said this process would involve establishing an independent judicial system,
equal opportunities, pluralism, free expression and the rule of law. “We have
decided that the reforms should be comprehensive so as to deal with the
political, social, cultural and economic challenges facing the nation," said
Badran.
