Khatib holds talks with UN official
AMMAN (Petra) — Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdul Ilah Khatib on Sunday met with the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Iraq Ashraf Qazi. During the meeting, the two sides reiterated the importance of joint international efforts to reconstruct Iraq and restore its stability and sovereignty. They also stressed the importance of the different Iraqi groups arriving at a national reconciliation.
