Kawar signs $15m
loan agreement with World Bank for public sector reform
WASHINGTON (Petra) — Jordan's Ambassador to Washington Karim Kawar signed on
Monday a loan agreement with the World Bank's Vice President for the Middle East
and North Africa Christian Portmann. Under the agreement, the World Bank will
extend a loan totalling $15 million to help finance the third stage of the
government's reform programme of the public sector.
