UNDP grants
$265,000 to 8 local NGOs
AMMAN (Petra) — The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is to grant
$265,000 to eight local nongovernmental organisations to help them carry out
development projects, under agreements signed on Tuesday. The agreements
stipulate that the beneficiaries implement projects to improve water management,
protect the environment, create a marine museum in Aqaba, conduct public
awareness campaigns and execute agricultural development projects.
