University introduces new course based on Amman Message
IRBID (Petra) — Yarmouk University has accredited a new course based on the
Amman message as part of its undergraduate studies programme. “Basic Islamic
Concepts” will be taught as an elective starting the next academic year.
According to the dean of the faculty of sharia and Islamic studies, Mohammad
Omari, the course will acquaint students with Islam and its teachings and
values.
