Jordan Condemns Beheading of US citizen in Saudi Arabia
Washington, DC, 18 June 2004 - Jordan strongly condemns the brutal
assassination of the US hostage, Mr. Paul Johnson, a US contractor in Saudi
Arabia, by Al Qaeda terrorists.
Jordan hopes that perpetuators of this barbaric act will be brought to justice
in order to restore stability in the region. Such heinous acts of terror do not
represent the true values of Islam which is based on tolerance, compassion and
peaceful coexistence.
The government and the people of Jordan send their deep sympathies and
condolences to the family of Mr. Johnson.
