Amman, June 21 (Petra)--Director General of the Palestinian Affairs Department
Wajih Azayzah affirmed Jordan's adherence to the right of Palestinian refugees
to return and compensation in accordance with international legitimcacy
resolutions, at the top of which is Resolution 194.
During a ceremony held on the occasion of the end of the tour of duty of

provided to refugees in refugee camps, noting the infrastructure projects being
implemented by the government in underprivileged areas in the Kingdom. "Jordan
is the biggest donor and host country of refugees," he said, adding that the
government spends around $400 million annually in the form of direct and
indirect services to refugee camps.
The director also stressed the important role shouldered by UNRWA in serving
refugees and the need to continue these services until a solution is found for
their issues.
