Four-Way Summit to be Held in Sharm el-Sheikh Next Monday
A four-way summit will be held next Monday in the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh in the presence of His Majesty
King Abdullah II, Egyptian Mohammad Hosni Mubarak, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud
Olmert.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmad Abul Ghait said in a press statement today, that the summit is designed to give momentum to
relations between the Palestinians and Israelis, ease restrictions on the Palestinians and create a relevant atmosphere to
reinvigorate the peace process.
He expressed hope that the summit would encourage the Palestinians and Israelis to return to the negotiating table.
