Jordan condemns assassination of South Korean hostage in Iraq
Washington, DC, 22 June 2004 - Jordan strongly condemns the brutal
assassination of South Korean Hostage in Iraq, Mr. Kim Sun-il by al Qaeda-linked
group Monotheism and Jihad.
These barbaric acts of terror are utterly rejected by basic tenets of Islam
and do not represent the majority of Muslims. Jordan supports the international
community's efforts to combat such acts of terror and hopes that these
terrorists will be brought to justice in order to restore stability in Iraq and
the region.
