King Condemns London Attacks
Amman, July 7(Petra)-- His Majesty King Abdullah
II condemned attacks which rocked the British capital ,London, on Thursday.
The King stressed, in a statement issued by the Royal Hashemite Court, Jordan's
solidarity with the British people and its condemnation of such criminal acts
which killed and injured tens of people.
King Abdullah also pointed to the importance of unifying efforts to stamp out
all forms of terrorism.
"Islam rejects all forms of violence and terrorism and condemns the killing of
innocents people," said the King, who also noted that Islam is a religion of
moderation and tolerance.
The King expressed condolences to the families of victims and wished the injured
a speedy recovery.
