Amman, July 7 (Petra)-- Jordan condemned on Thursday the killing of the Egyptian ambassador to Iraq Ihab Sharif.

The Jordanian government issued a statement in which it pointed that this brutal terrorist act contradicts the moral and human values, noting that Islam rejects such actions.

"The Jordanian government expresses its deep sympathy and condolences for the Egyptian people and Sharif's family," the statement said.
