Abu Hammour holds talks with Iraqi finance minister
AMMAN, July 15 (Petra) — Finance Minister
Mohammad Abu Hammour discussed with his Iraqi counterpart Adel Abdul Mahdi on
Wednesday the Iraqi outstanding debt to Jordan and the possibility of providing
fuel to the Kingdom as well as training Iraqi cadres.
Abu Hammour expressed the ministry's readiness to provide all forms of support
to the Iraqi finance ministry.
During the meeting, the Iraqi minister proposed the formation of a committee
comprising representatives of Jordanian and Iraqi ministries that have joint
projects to examine the schemes and work out swift and appropriate solutions for
pending matters.
