Jordan, Iraq sign health
cooperation agreement
AMMAN (Petra) — Health Minister Saeed Darwazeh and his Iraqi counterpart
Alauddin Alwan on Tuesday signed an agreement on Jordanian-Iraqi cooperation in
the health sector. Darwazeh said the agreement would be put into effect once it
is endorsed by the recently formed joint higher committee. He added that the
Iraqi health ministry would be able to utilise Jordanian health expertise under
the agreement.
