Parliament Condemns terrorist attacks in Sharm el-Sheikh
Amman/ July 24/ (Petra)-- The House of Deputies
on Sunday condemned terrorist attacks in Sharm el-Sheikh on Saturday and
expressed deep condolences to the Egyptian people and families of the victims
caused by these attacks.
" We in the House of Deputies join the voice of His Majesty King Abdullah II in
condemning all forms of terrorism and we denounce the terrorist acts in Sharm
el-Sheikh," said House Speaker Abdel Hadi al-Majali during the House session and
in presence of Prime Minister Adnan Badran and members of his cabinet on Sunday.
Several bloody car bomb attacks went off at the Red Sea resort of Sharm
el-Sheikh shortly after midnight Saturday killing 88 people and leaving about
200 wounded.
On behalf of the House Majali expressed deep condolences to the Egyptian people,
the Egyptian People's Council and families of the victims.
