condemn Sharm attacks
The Arab Parliamentary Union (APU) on Monday strongly condemned Saturday's terror attacks at the Egyptian resort of Sharm El Sheikh. A union statement described the attack as a crime against humanity, perpetrated by criminals whose aim is to undermine Egypt `s security and stability. In Amman, meanwhile Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament Abdul Hadi Majali denounced the attacks in a cable to Speaker of the Egyptian People's Assembly Ahmad Serour. “ We are pained at the loss of innocent people, the victims of the terror attack on Sharm El Sheikh,”said Majali. “The terrorist act contravenes the teachings of all faiths and an outrageous violation of ethical principles.”
