Jordan welcomes convening Sharm summit
AMMAN (Petra) — The government on Friday welcomed the convening of an urgent Arab summit in the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh. Deputy Prime Minister Marwan Muasher said Jordan supports any efforts seeking to unify Arab stands. He reiterated the Kingdom's support for Egypt's anti-terrorism fight. Egypt is expected to appeal to the Arab world for solidarity in the face of terrorism when it hosts the special summit in the bomb-devastated Red Sea on Wednesday. The town was on July 23 devastated by triple suicide attacks which killed at least 67 people.
