Minister of Information and Communications Technology announces implementation of e-government program

Minister of Information and Communications Technology Omar Kurdi on Tuesday announced a strategy to implement and update the e-government program, at a cost of around JD40 million. During a press conference, the minister explained that different government services were examined, and established that there were 3,000 overlapping services, Kurdi said. Each institution was asked to list three to five services deemed most important to be included in the e-program, Kurdi added, explaining that 115 services will be provided online during the coming phase.
